This year we have 19 outdoor activity-themed raffle packages! There is something for everyone!
Tickets may be purchased online or onsite during the Sportsmen Expo event.
Winners will be drawn on Sunday, April 23rd starting at 5:00 PM.
Our Goals & Mission
We are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Kora Shriners Sportsmen Expo. The event will include vendor booths, a Youth Hunter Safety Course, Comedian Juston McKinney and educational presentations throughout the weekend.
Our goal is to share the love of the outdoors while providing opportunities for education and exposure to the Shrine. The expo will feature vendors who promote outdoor activities for the entire family including skiing, fishing, hunting and camping merchants as well as ATV, Kayak and backyard game suppliers.
Guest speakers for the weekend will include: The Maine Warden Service, Mr. Drew and His Animals Too, Trout Unlimited, and Emily Parker – Registered Maine Guide who will present on Woman’s Hunting and Firearm Safety.
Our main fundraising initiative is an Outdoor Activities Raffle Event featuring 19 raffle packages available by ticket purchase to culminate late afternoon on Sunday, April 24th. You may purchase tickets online or at Kora Shrine during the Sportsmen Expo.

Indoor Mini Golf
Created for your enjoyment – check out Kora Shriners first annual Mini Golf Putt n’ Play! Several Kora Units are constructing a 9-hole mini golf course that will be available for play during the Sportsmen Expo. This will be fun for the whole family.
Open on Saturday and Sunday from 9a-4p – recommended donation – $5 per person.

Youth Hunter Safety Course
Do you know a Youth Hunter that needs the in-person portion of the Maine Hunter Safety Course? Kora Shrine is sponsoring a local opportunity for them in April.
COURSE IS LIMITED TO 25 STUDENTS
Parents do not need to stay for the class. Masks are optional (student discretion). Hand sanitizer is provided.
Students must first complete the online two-part course offered through IF&W. The online course for people 10-15 years of age is $19.95. That fee is paid to “Hunter Ed” through the Maine IF&W site. Students must print out a hunter education certificate and create a survival kit to bring to the in-person educational portion. The in-person skills & exam portion will be held Saturday, April 22nd – 8 AM to 4:30 PM at KORA Shriners Temple, 11 Sabattus St., Lewiston and will be taught by IF&W instructors. Certificates and cards will be given to students who pass. No fee is required for the in-person classroom portion and lunch will be provided.
