Andy grew up in Topsham Maine and graduated from the University of Maine in 04’ and 06’ with a bachelors and master’s in physical education. Most recently Andy has decided to return to college, and he will be graduating from Husson University this coming May with a master’s in business. He currently resides in Topsham that is commonly referred to as the compound due to him being surrounded by family.
Andy has worked for Hannaford Supermarkets for over 24 years where he started as a bagger in the Topsham store, working his way through the company and is currently the Category Manager for Cookies Crackers and Salty snacks where he makes the assortment and promotional decisions for their 185 stores.
Andy is only the second person in his family to become a Mason and a Shriner. His father, Noble Edward Caron Sr, joined just a year before him is a member of Kora Shrine and is the current Grand Junior Deacon for the grand lodge of Maine.
In masonry Andy has had many roles. Andy a past Master and the current Secretary of United Lodge #8 in Brunswick and is also the District Education Rep for District 14. He has been extremely active earning Mason of the Year for the district in 2015. In the other Masonic appendant bodies, Scottish and York Rites, Andy is a past Thrice Potent Master of the Valley of Portland’s Yates Lodge of Perfection and is currently in the Grand line of the Council of Royal and Select Masters as the Principal Conductor of Works. With Kora Shrine he is a past president of the Kora Kraftsman, participating in a variety of roles and he is also a Kousin in the Kora Hillbillies.
During his free time, I enjoy spending time with Claire and his family. He is an active hunter and has taken up skiing more especially at Sugarloaf or Saddleback. During the summer you can fine Claire and Andy on motorcycle ride, or he may be up to camp in Monson Maine. Just recently is partner Claire has been certified as a scuba diver, and they are planning on their next vacation to someplace warm to try out those new skills.
Andy is looking forward to becoming more active with the Kora Shrine and supporting the leadership in growing such a great organization.
