Andy Caron
First Ceremonial Master
Andy resides in Topsham, Maine, with his wife Claire in an area affectionately known by family as “the compound” due to the close-knit Caron clan that surrounds us. He was raised in Topsham and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physical education from the University of Maine. He later returned to higher education and completed his Master of Business Administration at Husson University.
Andy has worked for Hannaford Supermarkets for over 27 years, beginning his career as a bagger in the Topsham store and steadily advancing through the organization. He currently serves as Category Manager of Refrigerated Dairy, where he is responsible for assortment, strategy, and promotional decisions.
A proud member of Kora Shrine since 2014, Andy currently serves as 1st Ceremonial Master. He has remained actively involved in Shrine life, including serving as Past President of the Kora Kraftsman, participating with the Hillbillies Turkey Gobbler Clan, and most recently applying to join the Kora Klowns, portraying the character Snax. Andy looks forward to continuing to support the leadership and growth of Kora Shrine.
Andy is deeply committed to Freemasonry. He is a Past Master and the current Secretary of United Masonic Lodge in Brunswick. At the Grand Council level, Andy completed his term as Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Maine in 2025 and is currently serving his final year as District Deputy Grand Master of the 14th District. His dedication and leadership have been recognized throughout the fraternity, including being named District Mason of the Year earlier in his Masonic career.
Outside of Masonry and the Shrine, Andy enjoys spending time with Claire, who has been a firefighter-paramedic for over 20 years, currently serving with the York Village Fire Department, and is also an accomplished sourdough baker. Together, they share their home with their Rottweiler, Blue, and two cats, Felix and Minou. Andy enjoys hunting, skiing, motorcycling during the summer months, and spending time at camp in Monson, Maine.
