Kora Ride-In & BBQ Competition

August 14th-16th, 2026
Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds
Hiram, Maine
Enjoy a weekend of family fun, entertainment, and BBQ.

Details and Direction
The Kare for Kids Ride-In and BBQ Competition is an annual event to support, raise awareness and celebrate the good works of Shriners Hospitals for Children. We invite Shrine Patients and family members to share their success stories and, if they choose, join with a professional BBQ team who will mentor them in the Kids Que competition.
One of the weekend activities is a fully sanctioned KCBS Master Series BBQ competition. Some of the best BBQ pit masters from as far away as Virginia, Kansas City, Canada and all along the East Coast and New England have competed in our event and are excited to return again this year. If you love BBQ this is the place to be for sampling at our people’s choice contest, try some tasty treats from our vendors, meet the pit masters and get a few pointers or compete against them.
