Benjamin J. Weisner
2024 Kora 2nd Ceremonial Master

Ben grew up in New Gloucester and moved to Auburn where he lives today with his wife Cassidy. He attended Thomas College in Waterville, Maine graduating with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. There he met Cassidy. During the day Ben is a Public Insurance Adjuster and the owner of Breakwater Public Adjusting LLC in Lewiston.

Ben is a Past Master of Cumberland Lodge in New Gloucester, a Member of Acacia Lodge in Durham, and Cornerstone in Portland. He is a Past Grand Steward and a Past Senior Grand Warden having served in 2021-22. He was a trustee to the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation from 2021-2022, and is a current Trustee for the Auburn Masonic Association.

Ben is a Senior DeMolay. He was a member of New Marblehead Chapter and Knights of the Sun serving as Master Councilor of both. He was State Master Councilor for the Maine DeMolay Association and Past State Scribe. Ben was elected as the Region One Cabinet member for DeMolay International and was the Congress Parliamentarian. He was also the State Dad for Maine DeMolay and is a current Advisor. He is the Chairman of the scholarship committee of the DeMolay Pine Tree Youth Foundation, and he is also the Vice President of the Foundation as well.

Ben joined the Shrine in 2011. He joined the Mini Racers for a couple of years before joining the Kora Highlanders Pipe and Drum Corps as a Bagpiper. He enjoys teaching new pipers when they join the unit.  He is also a member of the Kora DeMolay Council. Ben was appointed to Outer Guard by Ill. Brent Tanguay in 2021.

Ben served as Past Sovereign Prince of the Valley of the Androscoggin. As well as the current Thrice Potent Master of Lewiston Lodge of Perfection. He is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Award.

Ben is an active member of the community. He is the Balloon Meister for the Great Falls Balloon Festival. During Ben’s free time he enjoys the outdoors, hanging out at camp, riding his motorcycle with his wife, and learning about his passion – aviation.
