The Kora Shrine Highlander’s Announce their 11th Annual
Robbie Burns Night
Saturday February 1st
at The Martindale Country Club, 527 Beech Hill Road, Auburn Maine
This event is open to Nobles their Ladies Family and Friends.
Social hour will begin at 5 o’clock to be followed by the traditional parading and address to the Haggis at 6:15. The buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 consisting of a tossed salad, carving station with Black Angus Top Round of Beef, Baked Haddock with Lobster Sauce and Chicken Cordon Bleau as main entrees along with a sumptuous array of side dishes, assorted finger deserts and coffee or tea. A cash bar featuring top shelf liquors will be available throughout the evening.
A traditional Robert Burns Night Program featuring toasts and songs, pipes and drums, a few traditions of our own and some not so traditional surprises will round out the evening.
Attendees will receive a complimentary souvenir shot glass that will be filled for toasting. There will be a magnificent basket raffle and a chance to win some great, but not wonderful, prizes in our ever-popular Robbie Burns Quiz.
All this for the wee sum of 39.00 per person. Advance ticket purchase is required and reservations will be strictly limited to 100. No tickets will be sold at the door and all reservations must be received before January 22, but don’t wait, the event sells out every year.
