The event will have over 60 display trees\, a craft fair\, a silent auction\, and of course the kitchen will be open. The general public is invited to come see the beautiful building and help kick off the holiday season. Santa himself is expected to make an appearance at the event. So mark your calendars and come out to this amazing event! \n\n\nFollow Us on Facebook\n\n\n\n\n\nKid’s Korner\n\n\n\nThe event will also include a number of activities for children\, including a chance to meet Santa. Santa will be available during the duration of the festival. Children can also bring letters to Santa and have them answered by the Jolly Guy himself. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFood Court\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe food court at the FEZtival of Trees will have a variety of foods for attendees to enjoy. Pizza\, hot dogs\, burgers\, chicken fingers\, chili and cornbread\, salad\, finger rolls\, French fries\, chips\, whoopie pies\, and soda will be available. There will also be coffee\, tea\, and hot chocolate. For safety reasons\, there will be limited stand-at tables and handicapped seating. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCraft Fair\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you’re looking for a unique and festive craft fair to check out this holiday season\, look no further than the FEZtival of Trees. We invite Shrine Patients and family members to share their success stories and\, if they choose\, join with a professional BBQ team who will mentor them in the Kids Que competition. \nOne of the weekend activities is a fully sanctioned KCBS Master Series BBQ competition. Some of the best BBQ pit masters from as far away as Virginia\, Kansas City\, Canada and all along the East Coast and New England have competed in our event and are excited to return again this year. If you love BBQ this is the place to be for sampling at our people’s choice contest\, try some tasty treats from our vendors\, meet the pit masters and get a few pointers or compete against them. \n\n\nGet DirectionsOssipee Valley Fair is located at 291 South Hiram Road in South Hiram\, Maine – just 45 minutes west of Portland. \nFrom the Portland area\, take Route 25 west to Cornish. Bear right on the South Hiram Road at Moulton Lumber Company. The fairgrounds are 2 miles from Route 25 on the South Hiram Road. \nFrom New Hampshire\, take Route 25 east to the village of Kezar Falls. Just before the bridge\, turn left on Bridge Street – then right on Main Street (which becomes South Hiram Road at the town line). \nThe fairgrounds are just 2 miles from Route 25 from either direction. FEES: Camping sites are $30 per night. Rentals are from Thursday to Sunday. All fees must be paid prior to moving camper / tent onto site.2. Water and electricity are provided at each campsite. 30 amp plug-in (limited number of 50 amp sites – first come\, first serve)3. DUMPING STATION: There is a dumping station at the rear of the fairgrounds. All wastewaters must be held in your holding tank. NO WASTEWATER IS TO BE DUMPED ONTO THE GROUNDS.4. Camper Trailers will be permitted to set up Thursday night and must be removed by Sunday evening – unless other arrangements are made.5. CAMPING ATTENDANTS will assist you with locating your campsite and help guide you to the site.6. CAMPING RULES: General campground rules\, courtesies and quiet hours should be followed. We will feature over 20 products ranging from vacation trips\, spa packages\, purses/bags\, outdoor gear\, firearms\, gift certificates and more for attendees to bid on. \nOur goal is to share the love of the outdoors while providing opportunities for education and exposure to current and future generations of outdoor enthusiasts. We have planned diverse demonstrations and educational sessions that promote outdoor activities for the entire family\, including sessions curated for women and children. \nOur main fundraising initiative is an Outdoor Activities Raffle Event featuring 10 raffle packages and a 50/50 raffle. Kora Shrine is sponsoring a local opportunity for them in April.COURSE IS LIMITED TO 30 STUDENTS \nParents do not need to stay for the class. Masks are optional (student discretion). Hand sanitizer is provided. \nStudents must first complete the online two-part course offered through IF&W. The online course for people 10-15 years of age is $29.95. That fee is paid to “Hunter Ed” through the Maine IF&W site. Students must print out a hunter education certificate and create a survival kit to bring to the in-person educational portion. \n\n\nOnline Course Registration\n\nThe in-person skills & exam portion will be held Sunday\, April 12th from 8 AM to 4:30 PM at KORA Shriners Temple\, 11 Sabattus St.\, Lewiston and will be taught by IF&W instructors. It will commence at 12:00 PM on Friday\, March 15th\, 2024 and end at 4:00 PM onSunday\, April 14th\, 2024. \n\n\nTicket Sales:Tickets will be available for purchase online via the Levin Marketing Solution LLC platform(https://levinsolution.com)\, a State of Maine approved payment management system\, from 12:00 PM on Friday\,March 15th\, 2024\, until 4:00 PM on Sunday\, April 14th\, 2024. Additionally\, tickets can be bought in person atthe Kora Shrine Center from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday\, April 12th\, 2024\, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday\,April 13th\, 2024\, and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday\, April 14th\, 2024. \n\n\nApproved Purchasers:For online purchases\, buyers must allow GPS access through the online system and physically be within thestate of Maine during the transaction.
